A man helped his friend to get pregnant by sperm donation but she sued him for child support

The plaintiff asked the defendant for a "personal favor", to be impregnated with his sperm, without intercourse, by means of artificial insemination, he agreed and indeed it happened. They drew an agreement where the plaintiff will have no future claim against the defendant and she is the sole parent of the minor who was born as result of the insemination. However, 2 years after the daughter was born, the woman decided to file for child support claiming that the overall cost for funding the minor's needs is about 10,000 NIS a month.Family Court judge in Hadera, Justice Tel Paperni, made it clear in his ruling that the best interests of the child are a priority, and determined that the defendant cannot renounce responsibility for her well-being. The defendant's commitment in the agreement that he will bear no Child Support for the minor is immoral and does not oblige the minor and therefore will be canceled. Finally, justice Paperni ruled that the defendant pay a reduced amount of child support for his daughter, totaling at 1,500NIS including house hold, and in addition, a quarter of her educational expenses and the exceptional medical expenses of the minor.
