A father asked to reduce the amount of child support after having a daughter from his new marriage, what did the court rule?

A father to a daughter from his first marriage divorced and remarried, and had a daughter from this second marriage.Due to this, the father filed a claim to the family court in Ashdod, to reduce the sum of 3,500 NIS he was paying his ex-wife for child support.Justice Anat Elfassi, from the family court in Ashdod, ruled that: "The birth of an additional child gives no cause to reduce the amount paid for child support but the fact that the transition from being a couple to being a family required to support children is a dramatic transition which should be considered when determining state of a person."The judge re-examined the father's circumstances and rule that the amount paid for child support every month will be reduced form 3,500 NIS to 2,000NIS.
